What we learnt from our zombie walk

Last Saturday we took an hour long train to Folkestone. After navigating our way to the sea front we joined about another 100 zombies for a little stroll through town.  Here are some things we learnt:

1) Zombies with grey/green skin look more realistic than white zombies
2) Copious amounts of blood is necessary
3) White contact lenses look awesome
4) Leaves and general debris on your person is a plus
5) With the right camera effect, cheap fake blood looks legit
6) Drawn on teeth and ripped cheeks look good if done well
7) Wounds can be made easily with acrylic paint and cotton wool though liquid latex looks more real
8) Unwitting members of the public give the best reactions
9)  To walk like a slow zombie you need to keep your legs locked straight
10) Even if you're a zombie you need to layer up - IT'S COLD BY THE SEA
